Fableleaf privacy policy

Effective 22 October 2026

Who is responsible

Fableleaf is provided by Mehdi Doghri trading as Nesia. Contact support@nesia.studio for support or privacy requests.

Your photos and drawings

Fableleaf converts a photo you select into a colouring activity on your device. The saved activity uses the converted picture, rather than retaining the original photo file and its metadata. A converted picture can still show personal information contained in the image.

Drawings, editing history, preferences and recovery copies are stored locally. This version has no app account or app-operated cloud sync. Device backups may include app data. Trash keeps drawings recoverable; it does not permanently erase them. Nesia has no remote service for accessing or deleting these local drawings.

PNG/PDF export, Files, Share and Print use system controls and your chosen destination. Receiving apps, storage providers and printers may retain copies. A selected iCloud photo may require a system download. These system services have their own data handling.

Support emails

If you email us, we receive your address, message and attachments you choose to send to respond to your request. Email is received through Apple iCloud+ Custom Email Domain, using a UK-registered Apple Account, and currently handled by Mehdi alone, without a helpdesk or forwarding beyond iCloud. The app does not automatically email drawings, photos or diagnostic files.

Our adopted rule is to delete routine support emails and attachments within 90 days after resolution, except where needed for an ongoing dispute or legal obligation. This is a new retention policy, not a claim of past deletion or an automated mailbox rule.

Apple reports and beta feedback

Within Nesia, only Mehdi currently accesses Apple developer reports. He reviews Apple/TestFlight crash reports or tester feedback in Apple's tools, without downloading copies. We use no additional analytics service or separate store for routine tester reports beyond Apple's tools. For TestFlight betas, Apple automatically collects crash and usage information and shares it with developers; sending feedback is optional. These beta flows are distinct from local drawing storage. See Apple's TestFlight privacy notice for its processing and retention.

This routine report handling is separate from retained development/test artifacts. Development/test builds can produce separate, opt-in local diagnostic traces. Retained development evidence is not a copy of every user's Apple report, nor proof that diagnostics are never exported.

Under our adopted rules, we use reports only to investigate faults, improve reliability and respond to testing/support issues. We explain any optional request for a tester's screenshot or diagnostic file before it is sent; direct email submissions follow the support retention rule. We keep personal tester material out of retained development evidence unless a separate purpose and deletion limit have first been explained and agreed.

Services and purchases

Apple provides the mail and beta-report services described above. See its UK iCloud terms and privacy policy, which describe its services and international processing, including processing in the United States. UK account registration does not mean UK-only storage. Apple's notices address its own processing; our use of these services does not imply that all Fableleaf drawings are sent to Apple.

This version offers no purchases or subscriptions, ads or advertising-tracking features. RevenueCat code is packaged but its purchase provider is inactive in the reviewed production path. This notice must be reviewed before commerce or another data service is enabled. Website hosting and your chosen sharing destinations are separate services; this notice does not describe every visit to Nesia's website.

Your requests and legal basis

Send questions or requests to support@nesia.studio. Where applicable, you may request access, correction or deletion, or object to or restrict processing. We will verify identity only as reasonably necessary, respond without undue delay within applicable legal time limits, and explain any lawful exception, extension or limit. This does not promise remote erasure of device files, exported copies or records controlled by Apple. You may complain to your relevant data-protection authority, including the UK ICO.

For the limited personal information we use to answer support requests and investigate faults, we rely on our legitimate interests in providing support and maintaining a reliable app. We limit that use to what is needed for the issue and consider the privacy interests of the people involved. Where processing is required by a specific law, we rely on that legal obligation.

Any approved material change will be described here with its effective date.
