About this policy
Colossal Climbers is a game from Nesia, the independent studio of Mehdi Doghri in the United Kingdom. The app appears as Climbers on your Home Screen. This policy describes the current testing version and the campsite saves introduced in Build 54. Earlier builds store history but cannot resume an expedition. No Nesia account is required.
Progress stored on your device
The app keeps settings, local best results and recent run history on your device. History includes the mode and course, number of players, completed stages or rooms, coins, dates, outcome and timing. It keeps up to 100 recent run entries across the device. Build 54 adds a separate solo Expedition checkpoint containing the explorer, lives, coins, completed stages and timing, so you can continue from the latest saved campsite. There is no Nesia cloud service for these records.
Separate Game Center and offline records
When you start a run, the app uses either your Game Center player identifier or an offline device identity to keep history and checkpoints separate. The local owner key is a hash of the Game Center identifier, not your Apple Account password or email address. Changing accounts does not transfer a saved expedition or history. This separation is a local app feature, not cloud backup or a separate device login.
Game Center and multiplayer
The app requests Game Center authentication at startup. Solo Expedition and Practice remain available without signing in. When you use online play, Apple’s Game Center supplies a game-specific player identifier and display name. Party members receive player identifiers, display names and explorer choices. Connected players exchange movement, positions, readiness, shared lives, progress and timing to keep the same climb in sync. Party codes connect a group; share them only with the people you intend to join. The app does not add its own text or voice chat.
Ranked times
Eligible Ranked runs submit milestone times and a leaderboard identifier to Apple’s Game Center. These are associated with your Game Center profile and may be visible on leaderboards. Local history and campsite checkpoints are not uploaded as cloud saves. Practice, co-op and continued campsite runs do not submit Ranked times. Apple processes Game Center activity under its own Game Center privacy information; you can manage Game Center in device Settings.
No advertising or tracking SDK
Nesia does not include an advertising network, tracking SDK or general-purpose analytics service in the game. The app does not request your camera, microphone, contacts, photo library or device location. This does not mean that no data is processed: Game Center, Apple diagnostics, TestFlight and messages you send to support are described here.
Apple diagnostics and TestFlight
Apple may provide app diagnostics under your device’s sharing settings. In TestFlight, Apple automatically collects crash and usage information and shares it with the developer; feedback you choose to send may include screenshots, comments and contact details. If you were invited by email, Apple also makes your invitation name and email address available to the developer. These identity fields are not shown for testers who join only through a public link. We use this information to investigate issues and improve the game, retaining it only as needed for those purposes and applicable obligations. See Apple’s TestFlight privacy information.
Backups, retention and deletion
App data may be included in an Apple-managed device backup, depending on your settings. Nesia cannot access that backup or restore a lost local expedition for you. A checkpoint is replaced by a later campsite save and retired on game over, victory or confirmed replacement by a new expedition. Recovery copies of replaced or damaged saves may remain in local app storage until that app data is removed; they are not offered as playable expeditions. Delete App removes its local data; Offload App keeps it. Device backups and Apple’s Game Center or TestFlight records are separate, so deleting the app does not automatically remove those copies or leaderboard records.
Email support
If you email support@nesia.studio, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use correspondence to answer your request and resolve issues, and keep it only as needed for that request and applicable obligations. We do not use support messages for advertising. Do not send passwords, payment details or a full device backup.
This website
Opening a help or privacy page does not attach your run history or checkpoint. This site uses GitHub Pages, which records visitor IP addresses for security. Nesia adds no analytics scripts or advertising cookies to these pages. Apple and GitHub operate their own services under their privacy terms.
Your questions and requests
Email support@nesia.studio to ask about personal data held by Nesia or request access, correction or deletion. We may need enough information to identify the correspondence or feedback concerned. Manage Apple-held information through Apple’s Data and Privacy service. We will update this page when the game’s data practices change. Last updated: 16 September 2026.
