Your photos are not sent to Nesia.
Your photographs and museum collection are processed and stored on your iPhone. You choose when to export or share them.
- What Exhibit does
- Exhibit is an iPhone app from Nesia, an independent studio run by Mehdi Doghri in the United Kingdom. It turns photos you choose into framed artworks with editable titles and labels. Exhibit does not send your photographs, labels or museum collection to Nesia. It has no account, advertising, tracking or analytics SDK.
- Photos and captions
- Apple’s photo picker gives Exhibit only the images you select. Imported images are resized and re-encoded without the original location metadata. This does not remove information visible in the picture itself. Image understanding and label writing use Apple’s on-device Foundation Models. Exhibit does not send your images or prompts to a cloud model or use them to train a Nesia model. If the model is unavailable, you can edit the words yourself.
- What is saved
- Your current artwork and the pieces you choose to keep in your museum are saved in the app’s storage. Each museum piece includes the prepared photo, thumbnail, title, label, mood, frame, acquisition date and any associated daily brief. The app does not collect your location or access your camera or microphone. Daily briefs use the calendar date on your device.
- Backups and copies
- Exhibit has no cloud-sync service. Ordinary app data may be included in an Apple-managed device backup, depending on your settings. Nesia cannot access that backup. Images you save to Photos may sync through iCloud Photos if you use that service. Apple controls these services under your Apple Account.
- Saving and sharing
- Save to Photos requests permission to add the finished image to your library. Declining that permission does not stop you from editing or using the system share sheet. Sharing is always initiated by you. The app or service you choose then handles the exported image under its own privacy practices; Nesia does not receive a copy.
- Keeping and deleting your work
- Your draft remains until it is replaced or the app’s data is deleted. Museum pieces remain until you remove them. Removing a museum piece does not delete a separately open draft, copies saved to Photos, shared images or device backups. To remove all Exhibit data from this iPhone, choose Delete App, not Offload App. Manage exported copies and Apple backups separately. There is no Nesia account or server-side artwork collection to delete.
- Purchases and Apple services
- Apple handles App Store downloads, purchases and refunds. Exhibit has no subscription or third-party purchase SDK. Apple may process store, diagnostic and TestFlight information under its own policies. Feedback you choose to send through TestFlight is handled by Apple and made available to the developer; do not include private images unless you intend to share them.
- Support and this website
- If you email support@nesia.studio, we receive your email address and the message or attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request and retain correspondence only as needed to handle it and meet applicable obligations. You can ask us to delete that correspondence. Opening the privacy or support link uses your browser and does not attach your artwork. These pages use GitHub Pages hosting, which logs visitors’ IP addresses for security. Nesia adds no analytics scripts or advertising cookies to these pages.
