A little help for your museum.
Help for Exhibit: your starter artworks, Plus access and the pieces you keep. Email support@nesia.studio; you do not need to send a photograph.
- Which version does this page cover?
- Exhibit is available on the App Store. These instructions cover starter artworks, Plus and your saved collection. Current local prices appear before purchase.
- How do I make my first artwork?
- Choose a photo or tap Take photo. When Apple’s model is ready, the curator suggests a title and label. Open Curator, choose Earnest, Pompous or Absurd, add a direction, then tap Apply & rewrite. Text brings words and typography together with a visible preview. Crop with two fingers, preview the frames, and tap Keep in museum or share your finished composition.
- What do the three starter artworks include?
- Three new AI-assisted artworks in total, with all curator moods, writing directions, the three original frames and full-quality exports. A successfully generated new artwork uses one starter artwork; failed, cancelled or stale generation and the labelled example do not count. Rewriting or refining an unlocked piece uses no additional allowance, including after a subscription ends. Changing the photo creates a new artwork. Keeping or deleting a museum piece does not replenish the allowance. The count is local to app storage, not a person-wide account quota, and reinstallation may reset it.
- What does Exhibit Plus add?
- Unlimited new AI-assisted artworks, nine premium frame editions and exports without the Exhibit signature. Earned premium frame and clean-export access stays with that artwork after subscription expiry. Apple handles payment; RevenueCat checks anonymous purchase status. Photos, words and the museum are not sent to the purchase service. Choose monthly, yearly or lifetime access. The app shows the actual localised price and billing period before purchase. There is no introductory auto-renewing trial: using starter artworks does not start a subscription. All curator moods, directions, three original frames and full-resolution export are already included without Plus. Manual creation, editing, museum access and export remain available without Plus.
- How do I restore, manage or cancel?
- Open Exhibit Plus and choose Restore Purchases, using the Apple Account associated with the purchase. If nothing is found, check the account and try again with a connection. Manage Subscription opens Apple’s subscription settings; deleting the app does not cancel renewal. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Lifetime has no renewal and does not automatically cancel a separate subscription. Restoring paid access does not restore your museum; manage artwork backups and exports separately. Manage Apple subscriptions.
- What if a purchase is pending or the store is unavailable?
- Pending approval is not a completed purchase; access updates when Apple confirms it and the app refreshes purchase status. Try again with a connection if plans or status cannot load. If Apple confirmed payment but access is missing, restore before attempting to buy again, then contact support. The app keeps existing artworks available. Apple handles refund requests.
- What happens to my 1.0 museum?
- Existing pieces remain available without retroactive charges. An unlocked piece remains refinable even after Plus expires. Save important exports separately; purchase restoration is not artwork backup.
- How do I direct the curator?
- Open Curator, choose a mood and write a direction up to 240 characters. Tapping a suggestion fills the editable field. Apply & rewrite saves changed choices and asks for a new label; the old words stay until success. With no change, Done closes. When writing is unavailable, Apply direction saves the preference and explains why. Reset clears the instruction. Each saved artwork keeps its own direction. Directions guide the model but do not guarantee recognition or humour.
- Why are AI labels unavailable?
- Exhibit requires iOS 27. AI labels also need a compatible iPhone with Apple Intelligence enabled and its image-capable model ready. Check Settings and allow Apple to prepare the model. Buying Plus does not enable Apple Intelligence on an unsupported or unready device. Manual creation/editing, frames, museum and export stay available.
- Does Exhibit work offline?
- Manual editing, frames, museum and daily briefs work offline. AI writing runs on the device once Apple’s model is ready, subject to the starter allowance or known purchase access. New purchases and restoration need a connection; the app may need one to confirm renewed subscription access after its last verified period. Apple may also need a connection for a model download or an iCloud-only photo. Your artwork is not uploaded by purchase checks.
- Camera or Photos permission was denied
- Choose photo still uses Apple’s limited library picker. To take a new photo, allow camera access in iPhone Settings; Retake and Cancel are available in the camera. If Save to Photos was denied, enable add-only access in Settings or use Share image and Save to Files. Exhibit does not change or delete the original photo.
- Keeping, updating and sharing
- Keep in museum before starting another piece. Reopen it from Museum, make changes and tap Update in museum to save them to the collection. Daily brief completion follows a saved piece for that date. Choose Print (2400 × 3280), Square (2400 × 2400), Portrait (2400 × 3000) or Story (2160 × 3840). Share image provides a JPEG; Save to Photos saves a PNG at the selected full resolution, with or without Plus. The frame and edited words are included; practice pieces remain labelled. If a receiving app fails, save to Photos or Files and attach from there.
- Deleting work and contacting support
- Remove pieces in Museum. Drafts, exported images and backups are separate. Delete App removes local app data; Offload App keeps it. For help, email support@nesia.studio with the app/build version, iPhone, iOS and what happened. Images are optional. Never send payment-card details.
- Keep the words you loved
- Add personal context to help the curator understand what matters. Explore recent label alternatives and restore a favourite without starting the artwork again.
- Make your museum yours
- Save a personal combination of mood, direction, frame and typography. Favourite artworks, search your titles and labels, and organise pieces into named collections.
- Share a photo into Exhibit
- Send a single image from the iPhone share sheet to Exhibit, then open Shared photos to review and import it. Importing alone does not write a label or use a starter artwork.
- Your museum, on your Home Screen
- Add a My Museum widget with an artwork you choose, or a Daily brief widget for a fresh prompt. Personal artwork only appears after you select it.
- Open with Siri or Shortcuts
- Use Siri and Shortcuts to open a new artwork, your daily brief or your museum. Add supported controls to Control Centre or the Lock Screen, or assign a shortcut to a compatible Action button.
- Find a piece with Spotlight
- Turn on private search to find saved titles and labels from your iPhone’s search. It is off by default and does not index your photographs.
